In 2026 we will be establishing ourselves as a committee. This will include:

• Establishing our name and logo
• Confirming each member's role
• Meeting with the LDS Board
• Meeting with clients to gain feedback

As a committee, we are here to speak for LDS clients and be your voice. This mission statement was co-designed and approved by all members of the reference group.

Our committee makes sure clients are heard in a safe and comfortable place. We help managers understand client experiences, not just what is written on paper.

We speak to:

• Managers
• Executive
• The board
• Families about what we do

We want to improve support, communication, and relationships across LDS. We work together with staff and clients by sharing ideas, visiting clients, and attending meetings.

What we plan to achieve is for clients to feel safe, happy, respected, and to see real improvements in how LDS works and communicates.
