The Client Voice Committee was established in 2024 with funding support from Purple Orange and Our Voice Australia.
Made up of four LDS members, the committee includes Mathew, Carol, Bruce and Rachel. In addition to her role on the committee, Rachel is the Secretary of Our Voice SA and provides support to its work.
Members meet monthly at the LDS Head Office in Payneham to share ideas, discuss client experiences and help shape positive change across the organisation...

The Client Voice Committee exists to ensure the voices of LDS clients inform decision-making across the organisation. By gathering feedback, sharing lived experience and fostering open communication, it helps LDS deliver services that are responsive, inclusive and client-centred.
A key part of its role is providing a safe and welcoming space where clients can share their experiences and perspectives. Listening directly to clients enables the committee to better understand what is working well and where improvements can be made.
Through collaboration, open communication and meaningful engagement with clients and staff, the committee helps identify opportunities to improve services, relationships and client outcomes across LDS.
Ultimately, its goal is to help ensure every client feels safe, respected, included and empowered, while contributing to positive and lasting improvements throughout the organisation.
