Fun at the Fringe
LDS has four values that we use across our work everyday. They are: Faith, Empowerment, Excellence and Fun. We believe that fun is an important value because everything we do should incorporate fun – it helps us to work and it should shine through us when we work with our clients.
This summer we have had a lot of sun, smiles and tonnes of fun.
Australia Day brought together DOR, MER, DUN and ROS houses, along with Jack to celebrate the day as a community. The Dorene St housemates hosted the day and provided a wonderful lunch to their guests.
The fun was surrounded by friendship, laughter and coming together to build even better relationships through the delicious food.
The annual Fringe Event is a highlight on many client’s calendar. Getting out and about in the city to see the amazing shows (this year circus and magic have been a keen theme), to be a part of the community and to have fun has been a key reason why clients are happy to be at the Garden or Glutteny.
Shimron recently visited the Fringe and got an added bonus of meeting some of the performers – see Christina in the adjacent photo.
Fun is in the LDS DNA because we all want to have fun at work, but it’s also because our clients demand to have fun and make sure that everyone who attends has the time of their life!
